About Quiz
The Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India (ORGI), Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with MyGov, invites all citizens to participate in “Our Census, Our Pride – Quiz Episode 1”, an exciting online quiz aimed at spreading awareness about the Census of India—one of the world’s largest and most significant administrative exercises.
The quiz seeks to educate participants about the history, evolution, significance, and impact of the Census in shaping the nation’s future. Census data serves as the backbone of evidence-based policymaking, governance, infrastructure planning, resource allocation, socio-economic development, and the effective delivery of public welfare schemes.
The quiz also highlights Census 2027, India’s upcoming Census, which will be the country’s first digital Census. Leveraging modern technology, Census 2027 aims to improve the efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of data collection while providing a comprehensive demographic profile of the nation. The Census will play a pivotal role in supporting informed decision-making and advancing the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
Through this quiz, participants will explore fascinating facts about the Census, understand its contribution to nation-building, and appreciate the importance of citizen participation in this landmark national exercise.
भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल एवं जनगणना आयुक्त का कार्यालय (ORGI), गृह मंत्रालय, MyGov के सहयोग से सभी नागरिकों को “हमारी जनगणना, हमारा गौरव – क्विज़ एपिसोड 1” में भाग लेने के लिए आमंत्रित करता है। यह एक रोचक ऑनलाइन क्विज़ है, जिसका उद्देश्य भारत की जनगणना—विश्व की सबसे विशाल एवं महत्वपूर्ण प्रशासनिक प्रक्रियाओं में से एक—के प्रति जन-जागरूकता बढ़ाना है।
यह क्विज़ प्रतिभागियों को जनगणना के इतिहास, विकास, महत्व तथा राष्ट्र निर्माण में इसकी भूमिका से परिचित कराएगी। जनगणना से प्राप्त आँकड़े साक्ष्य-आधारित नीति निर्माण, सुशासन, आधारभूत संरचना की योजना, संसाधनों के प्रभावी आवंटन, सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास तथा जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं के बेहतर क्रियान्वयन का आधार बनते हैं।
यह क्विज़ जनगणना 2027 के बारे में भी जानकारी प्रदान करती है, जो भारत की प्रथम डिजिटल जनगणना होगी। आधुनिक तकनीक के उपयोग से जनगणना 2027 का उद्देश्य आँकड़ों के संग्रहण को अधिक दक्ष, सटीक, पारदर्शी एवं समयबद्ध बनाना है। यह देश की अद्यतन जनसांख्यिकीय जानकारी उपलब्ध कराकर प्रभावी निर्णय-निर्माण तथा विकसित भारत के निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगी।
इस क्विज़ के माध्यम से प्रतिभागी जनगणना से जुड़े रोचक तथ्यों को जानेंगे, राष्ट्र निर्माण में इसकी महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका को समझेंगे तथा इस ऐतिहासिक राष्ट्रीय अभियान में नागरिक सहभागिता के महत्व को महसूस करेंगे।

Terms and Conditions
1. The Quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
यह क्विज़ सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुला है।
2. The Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’ button.
प्रतिभागी द्वारा ‘Play Quiz’ पर क्लिक करते ही क्विज़ प्रारंभ हो जाएगी।
3. Each participant must answer a maximum of 15 questions within the prescribed time limit of 15 minutes.
प्रत्येक प्रतिभागी को निर्धारित 15 मिनट की समय सीमा के भीतर अधिकतम 15 प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने होंगे।
4. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
एक बार प्रविष्टि जमा करने के बाद उसे वापस नहीं लिया जा सकता।
5. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
एक ही प्रतिभागी द्वारा एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएंगी।
6. Discovery, detection, or notice of the use of any unfair means, malpractice, impersonation, double participation, or any other fraudulent activity during participation in the Quiz shall result in the entry being declared null and void and rejected.
क्विज़ में भाग लेते समय किसी भी प्रकार के अनुचित साधनों, कदाचार, प्रतिरूपण, दोहरी भागीदारी अथवा अन्य किसी धोखाधड़ीपूर्ण गतिविधि का पता चलने पर प्रविष्टि निरस्त कर दी जाएगी।
7. The Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India (ORGI), Ministry of Home Affairs, and MyGov reserve the right to take the final decision in all matters relating to the Quiz.
क्विज़ से संबंधित सभी मामलों में अंतिम निर्णय का अधिकार भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल एवं जनगणना आयुक्त का कार्यालय (ORGI), गृह मंत्रालय तथा MyGov के पास सुरक्षित रहेगा।
8. Employees of the Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India (ORGI), Ministry of Home Affairs, and MyGov are not eligible to participate in the Quiz.
भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल एवं जनगणना आयुक्त का कार्यालय (ORGI), गृह मंत्रालय तथा MyGov के कर्मचारी इस क्विज़ में भाग लेने के पात्र नहीं हैं।
9. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India (ORGI), Ministry of Home Affairs, reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Quiz at any time or cancel the Quiz as deemed appropriate.
अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों में भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल एवं जनगणना आयुक्त का कार्यालय (ORGI), गृह मंत्रालय को किसी भी समय नियम एवं शर्तों में संशोधन करने अथवा क्विज़ को रद्द करने का अधिकार होगा।
10. The selection of winners shall be conducted through a system-generated automated randomization process to ensure fairness and transparency. All participants securing the highest score and submitting their responses within the prescribed time limit shall be included in a centralized pool of eligible entries. Winners shall be selected solely through the automated randomization process.
विजेताओं का चयन निष्पक्षता एवं पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने हेतु सिस्टम द्वारा जनरेट की गई स्वचालित रैंडमाइज़ेशन (यादृच्छिक) प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से किया जाएगा। सर्वाधिक अंक प्राप्त करने वाले तथा निर्धारित समय-सीमा के भीतर अपने उत्तर प्रस्तुत करने वाले सभी प्रतिभागियों को पात्र प्रविष्टियों के केंद्रीकृत समूह में शामिल किया जाएगा। विजेताओं का चयन केवल स्वचालित रैंडमाइज़ेशन प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से किया जाएगा।
11. The organizers shall not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or not transmitted due to technical issues, computer errors, network failures, or any other reasons beyond their reasonable control.
आयोजक उन प्रविष्टियों के लिए उत्तरदायी नहीं होंगे जो खो गई हों, विलंबित हों, अधूरी हों या तकनीकी समस्याओं, कंप्यूटर त्रुटियों, नेटवर्क विफलताओं अथवा आयोजकों के नियंत्रण से बाहर किसी अन्य कारण से प्राप्त न हुई हों।
12. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be considered proof of receipt by the organizers.
कृपया ध्यान दें कि प्रविष्टि जमा करने का प्रमाण, उसके प्राप्त होने का प्रमाण नहीं माना जाएगा।
13. The decision of the Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India (ORGI), Ministry of Home Affairs, and MyGov regarding the Quiz shall be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
क्विज़ से संबंधित भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल एवं जनगणना आयुक्त का कार्यालय (ORGI), गृह मंत्रालय तथा MyGov का निर्णय अंतिम एवं बाध्यकारी होगा तथा इस संबंध में कोई पत्राचार स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
14. All disputes and legal complaints arising out of the Quiz shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi only. Expenses incurred in this regard shall be borne by the respective parties themselves.
सभी विवाद एवं कानूनी शिकायतें केवल दिल्ली के न्यायालयों के अधिकार क्षेत्र में आएंगी। इस संबंध में होने वाले व्यय संबंधित पक्षों द्वारा स्वयं वहन किए जाएंगे।
15. By participating in the Quiz, participants agree to abide by all the Terms and Conditions of the Quiz, including any amendments or updates issued from time to time by the Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India (ORGI), Ministry of Home Affairs, and MyGov. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India and the decisions of the Indian judicial system.
क्विज़ में भाग लेकर प्रतिभागी सभी नियम एवं शर्तों तथा समय-समय पर भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल एवं जनगणना आयुक्त का कार्यालय (ORGI), गृह मंत्रालय तथा MyGov द्वारा जारी किसी भी संशोधन/अपडेट का पालन करने के लिए सहमत होंगे। ये नियम एवं शर्तें भारतीय कानूनों तथा भारतीय न्यायिक प्रणाली के निर्णयों के अधीन होंगी।
